A good day on Easter Sunday with the model performing well. We had a few issues with the Engine Driver app and some runaway trains but otherwise, the layout worked well. I have a few jobs to do before the next outing. I need to revisit the up and down home and distant signals as linking with the points wasn’t successful as they managed to get out of sync with both the points and each other. Back to the train tech controller for these.
A couple of pictures from the day. I am much happier with the backscene now and the addition of the people, carts and cars has really brought the layout to life.
Back to the other layouts now, the Sturminster rebuild has started and I did some work on Poole sidings as well.
