Modelled on Poole in Dorset the layout has been designed to fit in my study and runs around 2 of the walls in an L shape. Because of the room shape there are a number of design compromises. The actual layout is a mirror image of the place and whilst N Gauge has been significantly shortened to fit in the features that I wanted. My Nelevation ( double track, 20 siding stack) sits behind the station and at the end of the yard. From the station end the layout widens to cover the yard and the two long sidings that always held the x country train from the north that terminated at Poole before returning north. The layout is all code 55 track and wired for automation. Control is via Yamorc
